This work extends into another everyday site: a void deck table and benches marked by use and quiet neglect. A single styrofoam coffee cup rests on its surface.

In Singapore, void decks function as both communal infrastructure and liminal space, neither fully public in feeling nor entirely private in claim. The cup suggests a recent presence, a pause in someone’s routine now reduced to trace. What remains is not the person, but evidence of transience.

Like the earlier work, this painting reflects on what is left behind. It considers how ordinary discarded objects can quietly describe fleeting presence.
